That Just Means They’ll All Be Around Me…
We’re going smoke-free in the back half of the bar. I’m of two minds:
1. My bar is still going to be good for smoking. Smoking room = more people = more money for me. Plus, I think we’ve got significantly better ventilation than the back so it might be okay.
2. I don’t smoke. Now I have to put up with all the smokers.
Money vs. possible annoyance. Screw it, I’m going to make so much more money right now…
I think it’s a good idea that one of the major 4 am bars in the area took an anti-smoking stand. Everyone is going to have to do it in 2008 (in theory… this is Chicago…) so we can lead the way. I don’t think this will backfire, since the front room is still available. For now. It just caught me off guard how quickly the decision came down.
And it starts my first day back after the weekend. Hee hee hee!
